7Am – 1st of January – New Year’s Morning – We took off from Gatwick Airport to Cyprus. 2 days before my sister bought last minute tickets to visit our friend Ruta ♥♥♥ I totally adore her for this kind of spontaneous decisions. We desperately needed holidays! The moment I saw the sea – all the burden from a long and gloomy autumn dropped. It is refreshing indeed!
i wish i had more opportunities to work with film cameras. especially medium format. it slows me down. in a good way though. i enjoy that meditative experience when inserting a film, taking extra care & attention of a scene in front of a camera, all the little adjustments and then boom! that beautiful strong sound of a shutter release..gorgeous…
anyway, i havent seen the developed films yet.. this is a following thrilling part of waiting… not as satisfactory though

Exhibition 23-27th June
While we were still in a high school, probably age of 15 or 16, I and my friend Ieva arranged a photography shoot for her boyfriend. No, the actual session was for ourselves, however the outcome she intended to give him as a present. It is great fun to see these images after years, bearing in mind that it was our FIRST ever staged photography shoot : )
