7Am – 1st of January – New Year’s Morning – We took off from Gatwick Airport to Cyprus. 2 days before my sister bought last minute tickets to visit our friend Ruta ♥♥♥ I totally adore her for this kind of spontaneous decisions. We desperately needed holidays! The moment I saw the sea – all the burden from a long and gloomy autumn dropped. It is refreshing indeed!
I had an opportunity to photograph a talented fashion designer Nazanin Matin who came from Paris to London
I did this work some years ago. The theme was “By the Thames”. While I was doing a research I noticed a lack of interesting London postcards for the city visiting tourists around Victoria station and Embankment. They all were some dodgy images of Big Ben, London eye, and the Royals (no offense).
My inspiration became an illustrated Christmas postcard with a snowman. I bought a few of them and sent to my friends.
